FDM Printing

My current FDM printer is a Prusa Mini+ that I assembled. This printer came online in 2021. It is non-enclosed but due to the relatively stable temperatures in San Diego, this hasn’t been an issue. Humidity though, does.

I primarily use the FDM to print parts that don’t require high levels of fidelity but need more strength from the materials since FDM filament forms bonded layers between melted “plastic” versus SLA bonding is from the resin.
