The world benefits from peace and utilizing soft power to allow countries to prosper mutually. We have set a precedence by allowing an unchecked Russia to destabilize world order. We have ceded authority to Israel to dictate American interests. This war of choice in Iran is a clear and present evidence the consequence of the cost of hard power and incompetence by the GOP led by a pedophile, convicted criminal, and narcissist with no interest in what America stands for besides his own edification. Sending our sons and daughters in harms way is the last resort but the GOP have allowed an unchecked presidency for a vanity project to waste tax payer money, kill our sons and daughters, damage the world economy and ours, destroy our, and destroyed the credibility of America. The effects of this pure and utter incompetence will outlast this presidency and the question remains, who can rebuild the America that is now so polarized and damaged.

The more I use AI to help accelerate coding I get a fear of being disconnected to the work. It’s been a game changer for small dev shops but it also is too easy to just let it do all the work. I fear the atrophy of the basics of coding skills in lieu of focusing on architecture. Writing code is like any other language and exercising that skill is totally different than reading and comprehension. I have to force myself to manually do the code at times to make sure I know what I’m building. It’s too easy to just let it do everything but it comes at a cost.
